Wifi dropping out many times a day when connected to Vodafone wi-fi hub

Hello,

The Internet arrived in my new home in Scotland. Installed on 19 April. The line is new, literally new cable from the electric poll in the street. The technician installed an Openreach box through the wall connected to the Vodaphone modem-router model: THG3000 Vodafone wi-fi hub.

I work from home using an Asus laptop (with an updated Intel Wifi driver) with wifi, not an ethernet cable. I am physically two meters away from the router.  We have also two smartphones and another HP laptop connected to the router.

The issue is that the wifi drops at least 2 times an hour and reconnects a few minutes later on ALL (multiple) devices. Both when close to the router or when we are upstairs. You can imagine the bad impact this has during the videoconference workshops that I present... I went to look at the settings on my device's internet browser, there is limited actions even in expert mode. I have not tried the ethernet cable as it disconnects on other devices counting smartphones as well. I will complain under the 14 days refund policy and ask for a different and new router ...

This is not normal and so annoying as we pay a lot of money and the whole installation is brand new. Please help, any advice is welcome. Thank you. Marie
