Hello , when ever I am doing work or playing online games my pc will randomly have steady 26ms ping to kicking me of completely, I have reset my pc and tried using different wifi adapters and it still kicks me off, I get 45 mbps and then it will just drop completely however my phone will still work aswell as other things in the house but it’s just my PC . This is been happening for ages, what could it be ??

Slightly unusal, but the WiFi in your PC could be over-heating. Is it a motherboard built-in WiFi , a PCI-E slot one or a USB one? Have you any idea of how long before the disconnect happens and does it happen with low volume traffic such as reading a website?

Hello, it kicks me off randomly I’ve been connected through Ethernet aswell as a usb adapter and I get kicked of both, it doesn’t matter what type of traffic I’ve had it go down from playing games too losing websites like YouTube.

.@Jamesb3971 Oh, that's a pain. Now the next thing is a bit basic. What operating system are you on and are you up-to-date with patches (updates) and drivers etc.? Then if that is no help there's also; are you on a standard Vodafone router, have you FTTC or FTTP broadband, have you reset the router (yes I know it's showing-up as the PC, but wierd stuff happens).

Meanwhile I'm sure that someone else will chip-in if I have missed anything obvious.

Other devices are fine - not the router. Happens on ethernet as well - not the WiFi. Only thing left is your pc.

Is there any network management software running on the pc? Are you trying to run with a static IP? Is there a device other than the router running a dhcp server?
