Okay so my internet is very slow, i have been in touch with live chat support but they cant help....
so basically whenever i do a speed test it connects to vodafones own server and my internet speeds look like this https://gyazo.com/f23feb1d6eb31c7b36e8b4f32d58ad52 (im paying up to 76mb download mind)
but when i selected a server which is close to me (cardiff) i get these resluts https://gyazo.com/66c94c7b3b0f541ac2a2e2c3a70d9f0b (included the screenshots below aswell)
My internet speeds are really slow i cant watch a youtube video at 720p without lags. its pafetic.
Can anyone help? Im guessing my server has been chaged or something like that.

Exactly! i get 8mb/s of streaming. I dont get why it happens, like everything was completly fine until there was really bad weather for 2 weeks straight with really bad rain and wind, since then my internet got worse.

i got an update if it helps or maybe not from tech 2
every night my internet slows down to 3 mb my line sync at the moment is 27.5 mb , the issues that vodafone are calling it is a cablelink issue ( a cable thats can not hold the amount of data needed for every one connected to it to run through together https://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/home/products/ethernetservices/cablelink/cablelink.do ) .
vodafone has said it has already been reported to bt , bt has not set any time scale for the job as they don't seem to deem it as high or because its due to be upgrade at some point in the future , which means it could be 3 months or it could be 18 months before its fixed , regarding the ping issue the tech 2 advisor just thinks it's down to the cable link but i think she lost interest after she found the cable link as it dont matter because my net is poor and will be for a log time and there is nothing vodafone can do about it anyway. so if any one can find out what it's means when you ping bbc.com and it slows down when it hits the hop cw.net (vodaphone i belive) it would be nice to know

cable links are part of the backhaul from the cabinet.... not sure who has responsibilty, but essentially VF are saying they don't have capacity to service all the users.
Believe they have to purchase more capacity - which costs them money, so they are best off supplying a sub-standard service and hope the customers don't complain.

so looks like the only option available is leave vodafone as every thread is saying the same thing , or put up with it

Caution.
There's a suspicious looking link in the post above. The link is pointing to a Canadian site called "topiptv".

This is a repeat of a previous post. That thread is now locked.
That link wasn't there when originally posted - the poster came back and added it later. Edit time limits are needed.
Already reported. 😁

I can't update my post, but I was just going to add that the post I objected to appears to have been removed.
