Upgraded to 910mpbs Fibre

Hi I recently upgraded to 910mbps fibre and getting speeds of 520mbps according to fast.com.

The problem is I was on 500mbps before 910mbps and was getting the full 500mbs no problems. Now I'm getting like 10mbps more on the 910mbps, I suspect something is wrong somewhere.

Been in touch with Vodafone and all they can do is tell me to reset my router and factory reset.  I have tried 2 3rd party routers and the Vodafone router and I get the same speeds.  They say they are monitoring the line but this feels like a bit of a cop out.

Plus it is running down my cool off period to revert back to 500mbps without penalty,

Hi @ant3b999 - I understand how important it is to have the best possible speeds and connection. To help go through some tests on your line, please follow the steps here. You'll then be connected to an agent if needed. They can check the tests that have been done previously and help further.

Hi Gemma, I have done all this and I end up going over the same things constantly. Its frustrating.

Had the exact same issue, for over a week after upgrade. Reverted back. Saves a few quid, and being recontracted.

Solid 500-520 every time.

Whoa! Where did that come from (what AI)? Since this is your second post and the first was removed, I'll keep it short and point out your reply is totally irrelevant, and is likely leading to your impending "I got this....." spam post. So get it over with.

Already gone @Ripshod .  It was a Reddit copy and paste.
