Can't dial one number

VoIP service. Receiving calls no problems. Dialling out, no problems. Apart from when I try to call my own mobile phone. It rings once, then I get an engaged tone. Doesn't go to voicemail. On my mobile, it doesn't ring, I just get 3 missed calls (for that one call).

Any ideas?  VF say it's not their fault. My mobile provider says it's not them either!

Got a call from 2nd line today. They can see the fault but cannot see how to resolve it. Now escalated to a specialist team (I think he said pf team). They only work Monday to Friday. 2nd line team based in Egypt.

My wife is on tesco no issue calling that nor to my o2 enabled work phone. To me there is a rogue call forward on the Vodafone side. I notice on my mobile phone briefly that the home number appears  briefly the disappears before the phone gives the engaged tone. These notifications are so quick though less than a second.

And now it's gone to 3rd line. You do need patience with them. Calling back in 24 hours. Didn't call me today though.

So today I got a call saying the issue was fixed by Vodafone. Tested tonight and it is. I think by Vodafone 3rd line team. Was expecting it not to be but it was. I don't know what the issue was but if I do find out then I will update this thread. Vodafone are supposed to call me back tomorrow as I couldn't test when they rang earlier.

Brilliant. Let us know and we'll try to get the same for ours.

So definitely fixed but don't know what they did as it wasn't on the notes. I do have an inc but vodafone told me that it won't help your issue as its unique to me. One thing I do know having worked with Vodafone Business is they don't like help they want to sort it themselves. It's very frustrating but that just the way they are. Still at least you will know your efforts will not be in vain.

I've ended up here, because we have the same problem. It's not just to one mobile number though - it's to several. Calling out on the VOIP line to a mobile, the call rings once and goes to voicemail. The mobile itself doesn't ring, but a missed call is logged. This is for mobiles on O2, EE and RWG.  Would love to know how to fast track the problem to someone that can actually fix it.

I would start by logging a call with 03333040191. They will run through some set up tests and should then log the issue.
