For 2nd time recently no landline - last time took over a month to fix, and not even an apology from Vodafone. This time raised issue immediately ticket FLT09885223 - line & home broadband went out at 06.30 in a thunder/lightening storm.
At least with BT they would have a free call divert in place immediately and Openreach out to fix whatever is wrong - not vodafone, some less than helpful overseas call centre who could see the line was out but insisted passing it to their Tech 2 whereas I know the line is leased from Openreach who retain responsibility for repairs on it.
Get your act together Vodafone!

In some cases plugging a phone into the back of the router/modem/hub gives a working landline, I know not why.
