Just got FTTP and everything is working fine off the VF router. Phone lines are plugged into the VF router, VF router's WiFi is switched off. 3rd party Mesh has been switched to Bridge mode and plugged into the VF's ethernet port.
However I am shocked at how feature poor the VF router is. e.g. There are no Parental controls at all. I know I can get rid of the VF router and plug my own Mesh router into the Openreach ONT, but what about the Landline.
Are there any 3rd party routers in the market that have a telephone socket at the back to allow the home phone to be plugged in?

did you do anything to get it working as mine is still showing as unregistred.

It's been up and down since 6am. Currently down for me. My proxy is xbn.z2.bbvoice.vodafone.co.uk

I was rebooting the Grandstream adapter and the router but I don't think that did anything as it would have been fixed straight away. When it went down for the second time, I just left it and it came back "on its own".

I had it sent via text and then by email. If I can muster the will I'll try calling them again.

Hi All,
I'm trying to setup Grandstream HT812 on my Full Fibre 900 ( CityFibre ). However the chat support didn't give me the SIP password because my plan is Full Fibre 900 (seriously ?? ), only the PPPoE info given.
Is there any keyword or method that I can request the SIP password ?
I'm using HT812 under pfSense using STUN for external IP address lookup, and successfully rejectecd by the SIP proxy due to authentication fail. I study the SIP handshake by pfsense packet capture function, all DNS/NAT/UDP source port issue fixed.

@stephenyeong did you contact them on this chat https://www.vodafone.co.uk/bbservcd/?
If not, try their technical support department (not customer services) - ask for the telephone number from the chat.
You can ask them for the sip info as you want to try and use soft-phone applications.

That's work, Thank you so much.

Looking for a bit of help. There's a few questions here.
I've just migrated onto FTTP with Voda from a Voda FTTC service.
I've confirmed the VOIP service works as expected on the THG3000 router.
However, I need to migrate back onto my Draytek 2862. This is now connected and operational.
I have a grandstream HT801, which was bought second-hand and has turned out to be an ex- talktalk unit. (so this could actually be my problem?)
The unit fails to register. (I've also tried a Grandstream GXP1620, with no better result (thou this does not support the entry of a Sip User-Agent field from what i can see))
I have reset the unit to defaults, (this clearly tries to connect to talk talk provisioning servers, so TR069 is disabled, and the ACS URL removed) and then gone through step by step matching the working configurations in this thread, including the variations around:
NAT traversal: No / STUN
Check SIP User ID for incoming INVITE & Allow Incoming SIP Messages
from SIP Proxy Only set to Yes and No.
Vodafone have given me two different Authenticate passwords so far.
The SIP User and Authenticate ID's are both the same.
I have enabled ALG on SIP 5065 and RTSP 10000.
I've also tried forwarding traffic with open ports on the Firewall to the HT801
A static IP has been requested - though this hasn't changed since the point of install.
Has anyone got any thoughts on something i may have missed, or could supply grabs of Basic settings, Advanced settings and FXS port settings from a working HT801, so i can check all settings before I bite the bullet and buy a clean generic HT801?
Is there an easy way to conduct any diagnostics on what the HT801 is doing (maybe i need to set up a syslog, as it doesn't seem to have any downloadable logs?)

If you could flash the latest firmware from Grandstream (link) that would get you away from any talktalk lockdown. After that go through the images of the settings again, not forgetting the dns servers.
Somehow I have a feeling vodafone haven't given you all the info.

Thanks ,
I've done this once.
I'll run the update again from your link - when i ran it originally, it looked like it still retained some of the talk talk settings, that's why i want to compare basic and advanced menu settings.
