Hi,
I called Vodafone support today and just wanted to see if others have this same problem or might have found a solution. I have an old DECT panasonic phone which was working before the copper/BT landline was removed and it was plugged into the Vodafone Hub.
I can make and receive calls with this phone, but the problem is that I can't use the keypad to enter DTMF tones once the call is connected.
My use case is to use an external provider where I first call the toll free number to get access (this works), and then need to enter the phone number I am calling (this does not work...any tones pressed after the call is connected are not recognised).
Any help from others who have faced this issue and might have found a solution (another handset perhaps which is compatible) is appreciated.
I was advised by Vodafone support that this is not a problem with my phone or the router, but something that the industry is facing and all customers have this problem and we will have to wait until it is rolled out as a feature.
Many thanks

Note - I have tested this with some other services and they do work fine. For example, when calling other 0800/0808 numbers the tones pressed are recognized after the call is connected.
So far this seems to not work with my use case mentioned above (in this case, it's accessing the following site to get cheap international calls):

Hi @Jack432908
Not sure how practical this is but as a workaround you could try to use another device instead to produce audible DTMF tones next to the microphone of handset you are calling from.
I have similar issue but for inbound calls interacting with my call blocking handset. I assume DTMF tones are transmitted internally by phones and the audible tone is just for users benefit to know they have pressed key (perhaps the mic is muted on key press, just guessing). When I tested the incoming call blocking feature I used a second mobile to produce the audible tone next to mic of calling mobile and that was correctly received by call blocking handset. Unfortunately not a viable option for inbound calls so hopefully Vodafone / industry gets this resolved sooner than later.
