I've got to ask, what does "to comply with G5" mean?

If it is indeed available now, Vodafone's help pages aren't aware of it.

What is Digital Voice? | Vodafone UK

It will be interesting to see how many other people have working management features.

It's not been moderated yet, but Vodafone doesn't know what either hand is doing, it says that call features are only available on non-FTTP products, and then in the support that their not available in any Digital Voice product, but then it also advertises that you can still get landline only on business, which has a complete stop sell.

Yes you are right, their help pages are a mess. They seem to say digital voice is only on full fibre, but as we all know, all new (and renewed) contracts, both FTTC and FTTP, are now digital voice.

Perhaps do what I did send an email to CEO team and threaten them that you will leave if they don't make them available. My first phone number on my first contract was 01322230☆☆☆ and says I was allocated to Vodafone (C&W) current number is 01322239☆☆☆ and says the number is allocated to Vodafone (Thus).

Cable & Wireless acquired Thus in 2008. Do you think its possible Vodafone have two different platforms from C&W and Thus. I don't believe these services are new. I was playing about to see what else is available on my Digital Voice line and tried 123, it has the same Voice over person and talking clock as C&W did on my work phone years ago.  Although half of it seems to have been recorded over

@Nick89

To be honest, with Vodafone, who knows what is happening. They simply don't give any useful information to those of us who pay the bills.

Its odd because the home phone seems to be the forgotten service yet Vodafone seems to be the only one who actually markets a landline service. You go to BT's site and you will only see Broadband and TV and home phone is only marketed once you select a Broadband package. You really have to look hard on BT's website for landline service.

The same with TalkTalk, its taken them this long to provide Digital Voice, how can you call yourselves TalkTalk when you offered no phone service, the full fibre service was launched without Digital Voice.
