Do 4G Data SIM cards work with iPhone 7?

My wife and I will be in UK and then around Europe for 11 months and need a data-only sim cards for our 2 iPhone 7. We need LTE speeds while using data across EU countries without extra roaming fees. Thinking about getting data only sim cards from Vodafone but I'm not sure whether or not they are meant for tablets only... thanks for your help!

You would be much better off getting a Big Value Bundle for each of the iphones for when you are in the UK.  At the moment the bundles are on promotion with triple data and you also have your calls and texts included.  I would also recommend adding Vodafone International to your plan, still free for PAYG customers, this will save you money when calling abroad from the UK but not all countries are included.

It may be worth mentioning that roaming is only for short periodic travel and is not intended for long period of overseas stay and if you are going to be in Europe for an extended period, you may want to consider a SIM card for the country.

Do you know if there are clearly defined limits in terms of data roaming outside of UK if I have a UK sim card w Vodafone? The goal is to avoid changing sim cards every time I change countries (roughly 8 EU countries planned over an 11-months period, the first and longest stay being in UK). We don't need minutes and text since we do all our calls/txt messages via Whatsapp, so data-only seems simple and ideal for us as long as we can top-up as needed and have LTE speeds whenever we need the internet. Preferably, we would use the UK data only sim card across Europe thanks to "flexible" roaming parameters... Any suggestions? Thanks  a lot!!
