If you have a phone the quickest way to get the mobile broadband contract cancelled @gillm01 is by putting the SIM in a phone and texting STAC to 75075, when you receive the STAC just submit the code online to any other network and this will instantly cancel the contract. If you or anyone you know has an account with the other network and submits the STAC there is no concern with the process having any effect on the account.
Saves having to speak to anyone or waiting ages in a queue and the benefit to you is the contract immediately cancelled without having to provide 30 days notice.
