Fall Alarm linked to Sim card but no Vodafone signal

Hi

I don't know if anyone here has experience, I have a had a fall alarm put in for my parents, the problem is that the company use Vodafone sim, but in my parents  house the signal indoors  is really weak, some days it seems to have 1 bar but most of the time there is nothing.

I have contacted the company but they only have the one option and suggested I contact Vodafone. Who while being very understanding have no plans to improve signal in my mums area.

It does not work off the wifi and I do't know what to do here. 

Any ideas?

Thanks everyone - I bit the bullet and bought the mid range booster Thursday, arrived Friday and took me about 30 mins the weekend to put it up.

All working great, mums in good form and can go anywhere around the house and feels safe with the fall alarm connected green!
