K3520 dongle on OSX High Sierra

Hi everybody,

I've been using the Vodafone K3520 USB modem on my Mac for the last couple of years without a problem. However, I've just upgraded to OSX High Sierra, and the dongle doesn't work anymore. When I use the vodafone software, it just says 'no device'. I've tried downloading the most recent drivers, but nothing has helped so far.

Does anybody have any suggestions please? Thanks

Thanks for your reply, but I dont see the K3520 listed in the page you refer to. Should I assume that this means that High Sierra has made my dongle obsolete, even though it worked with Sierra?

Thanks Mar, but this guide is 10 years old!

I've been following the guidlines, but the dongle is just not recognised. Can you confirm this model works with High Sierra please?

@stanners1980 I've taken a look at compatibility with the dongle when using Mac OSX High Sierra for you. However, it would seem the issue may lie with the software itself rather than the dongle. Based on information I've found on Mac forums, it would seem there has been reports of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth pairing issues with the recent update.

There seems to be some quick fixes published on the Mac forums, Id advise trying out some possible fixes on there to resolve the issue as nothing indicates the dongle shouldn't be compatible.
