Hi,
Got a problem with this internet key model, it does actually install and connect but while the Corporate Network threat protection is active (thus the firewall) the internet key have all it's traffic blocked, while i'm focusing on the symantec side of the issue I'm asking if by any chance the problem has already been solved....
The curios thing is that on the very same corporate configuration on different pcs with the same software version (VMB 10.3.401 but also on 10.2) and the same SIM the vodafone k4505 works like a charm without having to disable the firewall and NTP!
SW configuration:
Win7 SP1 X64
Symantec EP 12.1
Thanks for any help you may provide

Hi,
According to this page on symantec's website (Fix ID: 2949361) this is a known problem with Symantec Endpoint 12 and 3G USB modems.
This issue is fixed in the Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 Release Update 2 Maintenance Pack 1 (SEP 12.1 RU2 MP1).This Update became released on the 8th of April and can be downloaded directly from Symantec.
It might be an idea to download and install this maintenance release on a test system to see what happens. If it doesn't resovle your issue, or you're already running SEP 12.1 RU2 MP1 let us know and we'll see what we can do.
Cheers,
HC
