Dear Sir or Madam
Is there something wrong with the data only SIM I am using in all the mobile devices I am using with it?
Because the SIM card in question am using is over three years old and as a result I am not getting the speed in Mbps I used to which makes me suspect the SIM card. Now of course it might not be the SIM card but it is the only thing I can think of to explain the drop in speed?
Try a soft reboot by turning the device Off and On and or eject the sim and gently wipe the chip in the sim card.
As a process of elimination try your sim card in another device and then see what happens @JamesL
Check your Vodafone masts via Vodafone status-checker.
A sim card can be replaced via a sim swap.
Customer services can send you a blank sim card and you perform the sim swap at home or wait until the Vodafone Highstreet Stores open and visit one to get the sim swap done. Take photo identification.
Customer services via 0333 304191 or Live Chat or the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries can check your account too.
Current Phone > Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G - SM9860 Snapdragon.
Samsung One Ui 3.1 / Android 11.
I suspect this may be due to the tariff you are on, if the SIM is three years old Vodafone may have put you on one of the latest plans and you should have received some notification prior to the change.
If you refer to this link Data Plans , not all plans offer the fastest speed possible. For example, if you look at the last two unlimited plans you will see one plan offers a maximum download speed of 10 Mpbs whilst other other plan offers the fastest speed possible.
You need to check the tariff and plan details for your mobile broadband, you should be able to see this from your online account. If the speed is inadequate for your needs, this needs to be raised with Customer Services.
