Possible to use another provider's SIM in my R219h?

I just purchased the R219h from Argos and it came with a pay as you go SIM for 15 gigabytes of data.

I saw that there is another provider that will do unlimited 1 month plans for mobile broadbadn. Is it as easy as just popping in the other provider's SIM?

note- there was no contract or anything I signed with the original purchase, I just bought it cash and switched it on

Hi @London_Usern7

The device will be locked to Vodafone, follow this link: Unlock your phone and select  Vodafone data Services from the dropdown menu.

Hi @London_Usern7

Unlocking it to all networks so that it'll accept another networks sim card would have to be carried out as advised by @AnnS

If you do go ahead and unlock after using it for 30 days as set the criteria set out by Vodafone befkre they'll accept an unlocking request, then you'll also need to make sure the apn settings are changed inside from Vodafone's to the new network.

It maybe an easier course to return the Vodafone device and buy one directly from the network that's going to better suit you.
