Hi, does anyone know if its possible to use the SIM in a R219h in a 3rd party 4G router? Is it fully unlocked? Would like to have a router with ethernet connections in order to set up a proper home network. Possibly the TP-LINK TL-MR6400. Thanks!
As long as the 3rd party router is unlocked to accept a Vodafone sim card and the Apn settings are in place in the router to run Vodafone Internet it should work @reezle
Current Phone > Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G - SM9860 Snapdragon.
Samsung One Ui 3.1 / Android 11.
Great thanks, I will check that out!
Hi @reezle
The settings will be on this previous thread: https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Mobile-Broadband/4g-phone-sim-in-huawei-router/td-p/2670482#
Once installed you shouldn't have any problems using the SIM in the unlocked router.
Unless you are on an unlimited tariff, just keep a watch on your usage through your online account.
