Hi. I have a Vodafone 5G sim. I am forced to use the 5G wifi signal to work from home, as my building only has old telephone broadband cabling and no fiber. My coverage is good at the moment. I get good download speeds of over 100mbps sometimes 250mbps, but the uploads are almost nothing: 0.8 Mbps. Max 5 Mbps. I bought a ZTE MC888 router to access internet and be able to work from home. I have changed the APN to Vodafone Internet. The default is Vodafone UK Data. And nothing changes. What makes the upload speeds so slow? Is there a DNS setting or something else I can try? Why is the difference between Download and Upload so massive? Customer services offered me a new Sim, but I doubt it will solve the problem. Is anyone techy here with some ideas? Thanks.
