This has been going on for months now. It will look like there is a connection to cell 587284 on this tower but no internet is available. I can't even ping google.com.
I'm now having to switch my O2 sim in so that my son can do his work. I see a network change in the future for this device unless it can get fixed.
Are there any clues or information from the experts? Can I get out of what's left of my plan due to poor connection?

Thanks @GeekBoy! I've checked the postcode you have provided and the coverage is showing as good indoors and outdoors for 2G, 3G, and 4G. You're able to check for maintenance or downtime anytime by popping your postcode into our Network Status Checker. I've taken a look at the mast you connect to (No. 6516) and can see that there has been no downtime or maintenance here either. Are you able to run a speed test on your phone whilst being connected to our network? Once you've done this, please pop it over to us in the thread and I can compare this to what you should be expecting in the area
