Hi, was looking for a bit of advice please! I’m not techie whatsoever so long story short I currently have virgin media, the router is in the lounge all good but the WiFi is lost as you go to the back of my house, the plug in extenders ain’t great so was thinking can I run a Ethernet cable through loft and plug into a different router? Piggy backing the virgin one as such? If yes my next question does it matter what router it is? My parents have a brand new Bt smart router that they said I can have but will this work?? Tia
