Network Issues AB23 - Whitecairns, Aberdeenshire

peanuckle
4: Newbie

We have 3 different contract phones for 3 adults and all 3 lost connection around noon 29/01/2022

1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?

No signal until we go about a mile towards Aberdeen.

None of us have connection problems away from home

2) postcode of issue is AB23 8UQ

3)It occurs in 3 different sims in 3 different phones but we tried two sims in two other phones with no improvement. All phones have been rebooted and taken in the car to where they reconnect to the network and back home and returned to no signal

4) no signal, calls only possible through broadband

5) no signal for any service other than connected through home broadband

6) problem started during heavy winds around noon today, 29/01/22, signal was lost at the same time as electricity. Power was restored around 3pm but no mobile signal still.

7) permanent problem for all phones on vodaphone

Hi @peanuckle 👋 I have checked the postcode provided and can see we registered some down time from 11am on the the 29th until 9pm on the 30th. Everything is looking ok on the mast that we expect you to use now. If you are still experiencing any issues could you please restart your devices to see if this resolves the issues. I do apologise for the loss in service but I do hope everything is back to normal now.
