I came home one day to a huge 5G mast outside my bedroom window. I am just about used to looking at it but the noise is unbelievable. It is so loud especially at night time and it is keeping us all awake. Is there something that could be done to reduce the really really loud running motor/fan noise that is going 24 hours a day. I can't handle the lack of sleep much longer. Thanks

I wasn’t provoking anything. You seem to take umbrage at the fact I raised a (legitimate) query as to why someone would complain to another operator about the noise from a mast without correcting themselves (and possibly apologising to Vodafone for their assumption). And now you are deflecting your anger on me. Chill and relax. Enjoy your Saturday evening 🙂

Goodness me!
In actual fact all masts are run and managed by an external firm called MBNL. So all complaints regardless of network get passed to them to deal with. It really doesn't make a difference who's mast it actually is. I'm not angry at all, the mast is quiet now.
I am however, pleased I could entertain someone like yourself for half an hour. I hope next time you post passive aggressive comments on random posts hardly anyone reads, that someone else takes pity on you instead of asking why the hell you care? 🤔

Just to correct you - MBNL manage the infrastructure of Three UK and EE (albeit mainly the 3G architecture and some 4G but not all).
CTIL (Cornerstone) manage the infrastructure of Vodafone and O2.
So, again, your assumption is wrong. Anyway, enjoy your quiet mast now.

Again, please put your time to better use than this.

My time was used productively. Correcting another error you made. But you won’t accept that. Anyway, goodbye *wave*…

Jesus Christ! I'm only relaying what MBNL told me, apologies if their knowledge of managing 5G masts is different to yours. I know who I trust, a professional, or someone with little else to do but try bully people over a Vodafone forum. Maybe reflect on your posts and understand how tedious you will look to other people if they read any of this. I'm sure Vodafone won't thank you for this, all you've done is put people off posting things, if their going to be met with unhelpful arguments.

I’m not bullying anyone…. All I have done is legitimately query your original actions. You’re the one being aggressive, NOT me.
For reference:
MBNL is jointly owned by EE and Three, two of the UK’s leading and most innovative mobile operators. Established in 2007 as the industry’s first network-sharing joint venture, MBNL’s mission is to provide best-in-class mobile infrastructure services to EE and Three for serving their tens of millions of customers in the UK.

These guys manage the Vodafone/O2 portfolio amongst others.
So, you really should evaluate who you believe. For what it’s worth, I spent 25 years in the mobile phone industry and hold a degree in Telecoms Engineering.
Anyway, I’m glad to have been able to correct you on a couple of facts.
I meant absolutely no malice in my original post - I was merely baffled. However you have turned this into an aggressive stand-off. If you look back on the posts, you’ll see I’ve been calm, measured and factual. You however have flown off the handle at everything mentioned. I won’t be replying anymore as I’ve said all there is to be said. Have a great weekend! 🙂

Your post was very informative,as we also have a noisy phone mask ,right outside my son's bedroom window! I have reported it to Environmental health and also contacted my MP,this mast has a notice on the iron fencing saying it belongs to Vodaphone.
