Poor Signal TW13

1) Only happens at work or surrounding area within a mile

 

2) Location Hanworth TW13 6JE

 

3) Happens on 3/4 different phone at this site different users all on Vodafone

 

4) The other person can hear you but you cannot hear them and then after a little while call disconnects and you get the message on the phone call diconnected

 

5) 5g is showing on the service between 2-3 bars for service level Data is poor Download 2Mbs Upload 1.7Mbs Ping456ms

    

6) Started seeing problems end of the first week in December 2022

 

7) This issue occurs on nearly every call sometime straight away or after 4-5 mins. maybe 1 call in 20 (a short call) might be okay

 

Tried calling Vodafone support just keep getting told we have checked and there is no problems showing in the area and try resetting the phone reseat the sim and reset the network settings, but this is happening other phone on the same network. On one of the phone was told to try an E sim this made no difference had to to vodafone store to get replacement sim as the tech on the phone tried to reset this and then could not reconnected and could not use the old sim.

If you can confirm the trading estate postcode @Kam-PKS, we'll be able to check this against out network atlas and provide an update on any work being under taken.

TW13 6DH is is the post code for the estate don't know where on the estate the mast is,

Hi, so I was told that there is a transmission fault on site 506 just off of hampton road west and you are having problems gaining access to the cell site? the rough postcode for hampton road west is: tw136eh I hope this is of some help?

where exactly is mast site 506 and how would you get this information. 

Hey, so I think there is a site called mastdata where the admins on here might be able to get the information from, You have to log in and everything, this was what I got on twitter back on January 13th. Hi Jade, we had a transmission fault in TW13 on site 506 which is located just off Hampton Road West in Hanworth Trading Estate. I then got a message on January 22nd saying the issue wasn't resolved and they were having issues accessing the cell site.

Just been speaking to dad whose in the tw135 area, and he said today has been the worst day for vodafone since all this rubbish started back in mid december and he's spoke to about 10 people from different areas in tw13 today and they're all having dropped calls, people can't hear them, the service they're getting is dreadful, so this really needs looking into, he's lost a lot of business today because of the calling issues. He doesn't need a new sim, he's had that, and he can't fork out for a new phone.

hey all, so just had a quick look, and now the works by snaky lane aren't due to be finished until 8pm on January 31st, so there must be a major issue going on. Hopefully when it's done it'll fix all our dropped calls? I'm not holding out much hope though!

Hi all! We're unable to advise you specifically where the masts are for security reasons, for example, they could be on private property; however, I've taken a look at the mast you connect to (No. 506) and this has an incident report already in place (INC000004782996). An engineer is due to go out on January 31st to check over the equipment as we're getting reports through that there could be some faulty cables on the mast. Hopefully this will resolve your signal issues. Once we've received an update from the engineers, we can let you know here 🙂

Hi Thanks for your help and info regards to Mast 506, so an engineer is due to LOOK at it on the 31st. 2 months that a quality level of service. how do i get vodafone to credit me for 2 months of a service that your not able to use that caused more stress. Do VF not have a shared database. How come when you call VF after holding and being passed around always over an hour to be told to reset the phone try a new sim no faults in there area as the online report says nothings wrong. I wonder how many other people are fobbed off with the call center excuses. loyalty counts for nothing over 25 years with VF. Quick to call back to offer a upgrade to tie you in but no one want to listen when you have a problem with THEIR service.

Might camp outside the mast location on the 31 and hostage the engineer and not let him go till its fixed :Winking_smiley:
