You can book an appointment or if available in your area a Samsung doorstep repair.
They would confirm a costing with you so then you can see if that warrants to the actual age / value of the phone.

Alternatively Vodafone may be able to offer an upgrade with a new phone.
To add There are Highstreet Repair Shops available but I can't recommend them as there is the possibility some may use poor quality parts etc and may introduce dust and further damage in the unit when attempting the replacement.
A Vodafone Highstreet Store would also be able to send a phone off for work to be done on it.
