How does Vodafone’s credit checking work? I applied for a new phone contract in store and was declined. I was told to appeal it via the form on the website because my credit score is over 900. Only to receive a response that the decision will remain a decline.
The person who responded to me didn’t even ask to see proof of my credit score, payment history or anything else? If you are declining individuals with 900+ credit scores on Experian, and a perfect payment history (no late or missed payments for anything ever), who exactly is being accepted?
This is just ridiculous and I honestly regret even applying in the first place. I will stick with EE going forward, I’ve never had any issues with them before. I wanted to bring 4 lines and my home WiFi over to Vodafone, but Vodafone don’t want customers who pay on time and spend a lot of money on their service every month apparently!

Hey there. I know how frustrating it can be to fail a check that you were expecting to pass. You can appeal a failed check by filling out the Appeal Form on our website.
