Got an email back in 2014 to tell me my phone would be delivered. Called them to tell them I had not ordered a phone and it must be fraud. They delivered it 4 years later I'm getting bailiff letters for nearly £1000. Logged many fraud investigations hours of calls. Getting nowhere. Any ideas

May I ask if you then arranged for the return of the delivered phone and if so do you happen still to have any paperwork to prove that ?
I appreciate it's a long time ago but things like this don't go away. They pop up out of the woodwork.
To add due to the nature of the problem this could also be showing on your credit file.
Might be worth getting a copy of your file from Experian. Other credit houses are available to check with too.
We have a Vodafone Social Media Teams here who might be able to help once they've caught up with your thread.

It was delivered to an old address. Told them it was not for me and I had not ordered it. They delivered it anyway.

Ok.
I think this is going to need the social Media Teams here to catch up with your threat and start an investigation.
