@jz1289 I think the ability to @mention is confined to Vodafone staff, and to Community members who have achieved Community Champion rank. However, I also believe that the vast majority of members leave the "Email me when someone replies" box ticked, so most people who have contributed to a thread will get a notification when there is a further post.
It's still well worth typing @jz1289, or whoever, in a post if there could be any doubt who it is that you're replying to. Some threads remain quite straightforward, but sometimes it can get quite "busy", with people talking across each other to some extent, so it takes guessing out of the equation if you make it clear who you're talking to!
