just wondering if anyone can help me with my question.
vodafone has recently told me that i can retieve a call via a transcript, but im unsure on how to do this.

Is it a transcript of a call you've had with another individual or a call you've had with customer services?
I'd say it's best to check with the official Vodafone team on here first although it sounds like something that might come under a 'service access request'. You can find more information on that here
Vodafone's SAR policy does make it clear that they're unable to provide you with information about the content of any calls, voicemails, texts and messages as they don't keep a record of content for the calls you make (although I'm pretty sure if it's a call to customer services they may record some of these for training purposes)
