Vodaphone in France

I am going to live in France shortly and have a uk Vodaphone pay monthly phone (£42 pm) I am nervous about the costs of using a UK phone over there. Several questions

- Can I transfer my phone onto a vodaphone French Tariff and still pay the bill to Vodaphone UK or

- can I transfer it and pay it from my French bank a/c to Vodaphone France

- If the above is no and I persist with my UK phone abroad is there a specific tariff that make it economic until my contract runs out.

- when it does run out, will Vodaphone France treat me as a new customer or a long serving one?

Hello Jacko

None of the above.  Your contract is with Vodafone UK.

Although you are able to roam on a French network, Vodafone do not have a  presence in France. Even if they had, it would be treated as a separate company.
