Admin password for SPA525G

I have bought 2 Cisco SPA525G IP phones for private use, but can't get thru the Adminpassword. They have had Vodaphone as provider and I'm wondering if there is some kind of unlock password that can unlock these phones. I can do a factory reset, but still the phone is asking for a password to enter the Adminsides.

Hey there @SM6LNJ - Hmmm, interesting one! I've found this Cisco forum thread this might be able to provide you with the right steps to reset the Admin log ins on the phone. Let me know how you get on!

Hello, and tnx's for the tip.

I can resett my phone without any password, but when I try to enter the advance section, the box show up where password will be typed in. So I can't enter the admin part.

Thanks for the update on this @SM6LNJ As well as the information @Evie provided, there's information on setting the phone up in the phones User Guide. If your still struggling Cisco have a dedicated Online Support team who should be able to help with resetting the password for you 😊
