Hi, We’ve just switched from VM to Vodafone (waiting on activation) and our BT Line Socket isn’t in an ideal place so we want to get it moved.
The problems is that our property isn’t roadside; it’s behind a row of shops and down an alleyway, and our BT Line Socket isn’t on an outside wall but on an internal wall (it’s on a wall connecting our dining room and bathroom). Our property has an alleyway on each side of the property.
I’ve googled and googled and I’ve seen it is possible to reroute, but it may cost an arm and a leg to get it moved.
Our home is a ground floor flat but in a ‘L’ shape, so ideally we want the line to come in at the corner of the ‘L’ which is our Living Room.
We know as a Superfast Pro customers we have access to the boosters, which may ultimately be the cheaper option at least in the short term, but I wonder whether it would maximise the benefit of what we have if it’s moved completely?
Can someone with more knowledge advise?
