Big price increase this year

The monthly cost of your plan will go up from your April 2023 bill. The amount your monthly plan will increase by is the UK Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate of 10.5% (as published in January 2023) to support the rise in our running costs and keep up with increased demand, plus an additional 3.9% to help support the continued investment in our network as we expand coverage.

Wondering if we might get some uk call centre with staff training instead of reading a flow chart on a computer screen

@gipjon "keep up with increased demand", what a great way to deal with increased demand, reudce the demand by increasing the tarrif. But as all the other big name ISPs are doing the same what choice does the consumer have? Did I hear anyone say "cartel"?

Interestingly, even with the increase, which I'm not happy about, I will still be paying less than a new starter (assuming Vodafone do their sums correctly) which is currently £25 for Fibre 2.

It will be interesting to see what the new starter prices will be after April.

Yes it would be good if support was improved, I live in dread of having to deal with Vodafone, should there be a problem.

Having very recently 'negotiated' a new 2 year contract renewal (effective from this month)  before the mid-April expiry of the existing contract, I'll be interested to see if I get hit with the criminal RPI+3.9% (14.4%) increase…

Disappointed if I do but not entirely surprised even though the price rise was what I sought to avoid.  It will take me up to £24.02 (FTTC Fibre 2) which is still 4 or 5 quid cheaper than my very first VF contract.

You should be ok, as long as you took it out after the 24 Feb. (Date from memory, which at my age is not too good)
