Broadband app has gone TU. Was ok last time I used it a couple of months ago but but wont work with router on either a pad or phone now. Tried all the usual tricks reinstall ( several times ) data reset etc etc . When I started the app it had been updated !! So it probably an app problem . Or even a router update problem . Or both ! Phoned Vodaphone but they had no idea what's up or they will be down grading the router update overnight. Phoning me back on Saturday ????  Where is a techy when you need one. In the conversation I got the distinct impression I was the only one who knew what I was talking about :Smiley_face_with_shades:

Hi @petenoclue - if the app still isn't working, then please get in touch with us again by calling 191 for free from a Vodafone mobile or 03333 040 191 from any other network/landline.

I did and it appears the tech guys can't be bothered to contact me to sort my problem out. I just keep talking to front line support who can't answer or do anything to sort my problem out and just keeps passing me to the tech guy's who iether be bothered to contact me or as I suspect have problem with an update to the vodofone app they can't fix!! I don't know know what the problem is as I am unable to speak to anybody who can give me an answer?

Sorry you're facing such trouble. Is the issue still present with the app, are there any pending updates? Our Broadband Support Team are the team to assist with any issues setting up or using the app. They are contactable on 03333040191 or Live Chat here.

Yes, No and what's the point ?

Just had another call with customer services ( HaHaHa) and asked if fault was the same...…again ! was told the techy dept have been having trouble with a router update since January. Yet another call scheduled for Friday to see if the tech dept deigns to call me. I have a feeling they wont be asked to bother because they don't know how to fix the software update they have pushed out to the customers to do the beta test for them. The update to the router also included an update to the PC where about three quarters of the router information has gone missing with a pop up notice that all the information can be found on the "APP" the comedy of the situation is not lost to me and I'm fast realising the tech dept might have been taken over by DOGE where the clown in chief holds sway ?

And here we are on Friday with the naughty app still no work and looking forward to phoning the " support team" ( after the last one gave up and asked me to phone back today as she was on holiday 😁

I must say I'm not holding my breath but I will come back here to report the next chapter in my effort to get what I pay for....... Fingers crossed 🤞

OK it's FIXED! Phoned yesterday to customer service and was told to put the router back to factory settings and reinstall everything. Was not looking forward the hours of fun this course of action would entail so decided to turn the router " off and on " again. After the router started I tried the app and it went into update mode and hay presto it worked!! So if you are having difficulty try re-booting the router first. I did try it once before but whether they changed something I don't know it worked a second time. That being said the app and the direct connection to the router is a lot worse than the previous reiterating.
