Hi everyone hopefully someone can advise, my broadband was installed yesterday and was working just fine until my silly cat decided to chew through one of the wires on the internal fibre connection box (not the router) I will include a picture for reference, but I wondered if anyone could tell me where I could get a replacement cable to fit this as Vodafone advised I should be able to find one online but no idea what to search etc and don’t want to waste my money. Any help greatly appreciated . (Circled the wire that has been affected 😂

Can anyone please suggest where to get this Adapter? I have tried a few from Amazon but none seems to fit.

Please can you advise where can I buy this exact one?

Found that Cityfibre ONT on fleabay. Yeah it's nearly £25, but a guaranteed match 👌

eBay link

Anyone with any electrical knowledge should be able to repair your old one. Don't you know anyone?

We had sky and paid almost double what we pay now, and they offered the same speeds so we went for it. It’s pretty much the same but I have noticed it can cut out for 1-5 minutes twice a week or so. Not unbearable but definitely didn’t notice it with Sky. I’m in central SE

That's a dead common power adapter.  If you try a couple of older mobile phone repair shops (how I miss Maplin), they'll probably have something suitable in a corner gathering dust.
Can I suggest you get some bitterex at the same time.  If the cat was to chew on the fibre optic, it's a more expensive fix, not just for the internet and you may end up having to upgrade the cat too!!!

Hey there, this thread is actually from Jan 23 I’m completely baffled how it’s gathered attention again haha! My Dad saved the day with an old adapter he had lying about. Bitterex still may be a shout though as our cat is still prone to eating wires and has chewed many baby monitor cables since this post, I’ll take a look! Thank you :Smiling:

@chloemcghee0 There's a product made from apple skin aimed at problem dogs but also suitable for cats that I've found stopped my moggie chewing wires.

Can someone please help me by advising where can I buy this new adapter? The wire of mine is broken and requires a new adapter?

I have tried Amazon/eBay but unable to find a suitable one.
