I would like my IP changed to a static one because I have a domain and I run a server from my computer at home and when me or my friends want to access it, I have to keep editing the A record on my domain every day and its pretty annoying. I had eir before I had vodafone and the IP was always the same apart from it changing like every year or so and I didnt have to pay for a static IP address or any additional services.
Is there any way I could switch to a static IP?
Thanks

Yes there is. All you have to do is ask vodafone - and it's free

Are you suse a DDNS like no-ip won't do the job?

That link is a UK one. I tried talking to the customer support there and they said that they will send me a link for the Ireland team, but theres only a method to call Vodafone.
Would I have to call Vodafone?
Thanks

@alankasprzyk23 You have to contact Vodafone. The contact details are in the FAQ section.

There is a chat button on their home page, you could try that.

As you say you had eir before, you are presumably in Ireland, so the rules may be different to the UK.
However, your I.P. address shouldn't be changing daily.
