Had my Vodafone broadband installed/activated today; so far so good on the actual internet connection side of things - getting a good speed both up and down.
I have a full wired network through my property with several static IP devices and I've reconfigured the TNG3000 to use my LAN IP range (rather than change all the devices) and that appears to have worked OK. I will tackle the port forwarding another day as it appears to be a pain (from other posts!)
So I then went to change the WiFi settings (the router is bugging me to change the password as it's still the default and I actually want to use a meaningful SSID) but everything I try to change (actually, it happens even when I don't try to change something) I get a message that says 'Your changes have not been updated' and then the page refreshes. This is obviously not acceptable!
Firmware is 19.2.0307-3261013 and apparently there is nothing newer available (actually it tells me something went wrong rather than there is no update).
So, how do I fix my WiFi? Anyone got any ideas? Or is this the standard I should expect from this massive chunk of hardware?
Cheers

I have the THG3000 next to me solely connected by wire and I have just done a factory reset. The Wi-Fi manual changes options are back on the screen. I wonder if it is being connected to VF that makes these features disappear as the router may well be looking for U.I. pages from a server and falling back to the ones in ROM if it cannot find them. Perhaps this is the inscrutable "WiFi Doctor" at work?

Problem still occurs on Firefox!

I really don't believe it is a browser problem. There would not be so many threads about it and the Vodafone mods have all but agreed it is company policy.
Edit: Just realised this thread is not specifically about wi-fi channels settings. However if you are having problems accessing the general wi-fi settings in Firefox (i use it all the time) then it is probably an add-on or cache at fault.

I was seriously considering resetting the newly supplied Vodafone router again thinking I had corruption when I came across this thread. Thank goodness I did as I was also using Firefox with it's latest updates. I too switched to another browser which was Google and was pleasantly surprised to find that I could make the required changes OK.
It's such a naff problem that should have been highlighted in Vodafone's leaflet that comes with the router.
Thanks for the tip.

I had the same problem when I tried to change my wi-fi settings today, using Firefox. Fortunately, Google unearthed this thread, so I switched to Edge, and successfully changed wi-fi name, wi-fi password and hub password. Thanks, guys!
