Hi, I had full fibre 910 installed via CityFibre/Vodafone last Thursday, so far my experience hasn't been great.
I noticed over the weekend that the connection was dropping regularly, at one point on Sunday the ONT box would lose service about every 20 minutes, this has improved but I have noticed a few connection drops today too.
The speed I'm getting isn't reliable either. on a PC connected via ethernet, I get between 500-700mbps download which is OK but it's not as close to the advertised 910mbps as I expected from a brand new full fibre connection, my old 1 gig Virgin broadband download speed was faster and more reliable. Upload seems to be hitting the advertised speed most of the time.
I ran a broadband service test using the Vodafone app and it said there was an issue with my connection and gave me a reference number. I have since spoken to technical support who claim to have changed some settings and asked me to monitor the speed for the next 24 hours.
I have witnessed a drop in the connection since the change of settings and speed doesn't seem to have improved. Am I expecting too much or should the service be more reliable than what I am currently seeing?
