City Fibre say yes, Vodafone say no.

My current contract for FTTC with Vodafone is coming to an end shortly. The website says my address can now connect to FTTP, as does the City Fibre website. On contacting Vodafone to sign up I was told by the agent that City Fibre wasn’t showing up on his screen so I couldn’t be signed up. Spookily if I cheat and sign up as a new customer it lets me arrange an installation date and goes all the way to the payment. screen! Anyone any idea what’s going on?

What if you try to do the upgrade from within your Vodafone account?

Not sure if this will take you there: Ready to upgrade? (vodafone.co.uk)

 

Thanks, that’s  what I tried but it told me to contact an agent which I did, with the disappointing result.

@lenfish Sometimes the VF database is a bit behind the times and despite the hardware being in your street the VF computer says "no".
