Vodafone have ceased my existing supplier without completing their install and won't reverse it

Has anyone else had similar experience. Existing service on copper line with Origin Broadband, signed up for Vodafone fibre at start of Feb which was meant to be in by 24 Feb but the physical work outside hasn't been done yet. Vodafone have already sent a cease-order to Origin which Origin say they have to comply with so my service with Origin has ceased and I've been on the phone/ chat for ages with both supplier both keep saying I have to talk to the other. I'm getting nowhere with either company as Vodafone point-blank refuse to reverse/ postpone the cease-order and Origin will only take the reversal of the cease-order from Vodafone so I'm totally stuck until the external work is done, even though I still have the copper line which would be capable of providing at least some service in the interim.

Any thoughts/ advice please?
