I have been given the same PPPoE username & password multiple times by SMS despite this the Asus router claims
It's via City Fibre so using 911 for Vlan
Getting quite frustrated now after going around in circles for 3 days trying to get this to work. Am I missing something?

Forgot to mention I have tried 3 different routers, factory resets etc, still a no go. Vodafone support are claiming the username/password supplied is correct. Hopefully I can get this resolved before the cooling off period is over!

You say you are getting your credentials via SMS, have you tried using live chat, and asking them to copy and paste them into the chat?

Hi Jayach
They claim its due to data protection that they can only SMS the details, 3 times I've had it Texted to me.
I did try copy & paste from the SMS message when phone was connected to the PC, also made sure there wasn’t a phantom space at the end of the copy & paste. I didn't think it would be such a time suck to attempt to get it to work.
Was also told to wait 48-72 hours for the order to eventually show as complete instead of open or in progress but later told that’s incorrect & it should work regardless of that. Anyway I would assume its complete as I've had a bill...

Hi Janey
I tried the social team approach, included a link to this thread which I assume they didn't even read and the response was to call the broadband team.

Thanks for letting me know @Mike_ I've located the chat with the social team and advised accordingly. This is definitely something that's within our scope, apologies for the misunderstanding. Please reply and let the agent know you were invited to contact us 👍
