Connected Devices stopped showing in Broadband App after Router reset

Hi. I have started having a problem with the ios Broadband App.

Since the intallation of Vodafone Broadband I had my wi-fi split 2.4 and 5GHz

I have the Broadband App on 2 different iphones.

All working fine.

I was clicking through the various pages on the Router's homepage. I did something that stopped me accessing the homepage. It may have been something to do with the Firewall page.

Anyway, I reset the Router by pressing the reset button with a paperclip.

Entered the original wifi and homepage passwords.

Then changed those passwords

I did not split the wi-fi this time and everything is working fine.

On the Router's homepage connected devices appear correctly.

But both apps have stopped showing any connected devices.

I have deleted and reinstalled them on both phones and reconnected the to the router using the WPS Button.

The App runs fine but shows no connected devices

But on the app, when I go

TOBi!>ADVANCE ROUTER SETTINGS>ENTER PASSWORD

It shows all devices there.

I have turned the Router off and on.

Deleted and reinstalled the app.

Deleted the app. Turned off my phone. Reinstalled the app.

Both phones have the same error.

Please advise. Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know what you've already tried at @CRAZZIEE - please can you try deleting the app from both phones and then only installing it one phone, to see if this updates it at all?

What phones are you using for this?

Thanks for your reply.

I factory reset the router again and it fixed it.

Amazing, we're glad that everything is fixed @CRAZZIEE. Thanks for taking the time to update us 🙂

Has a fix for this issue been identified other than a full reset of the router?

I’ve had this same issue with devices not showing within the app since installation of my router. All 33 Wi-Fi devices show fine when logged into the router, just the app is failing to show them.

I am using an iPhone 12 Pro with iOS 15.3.1. I have not split the 2.4/5 networks on the router however I have altered the log in password, SSID and wifi password.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, rebooting the router and ensuring the app is connected to the router using the WPS button.

I am loathed to try a hard reset of the router given it took over 3 hours to get all my devices connected to my new network and identified/named within the router when I switched providers to Vodafone last month.

Is there a fix yet?

I logged this issue over the phone with Vodafone in March and the individual left me with little confidence it would be investigated, despite his poor reassurance.

I don’t have hours to waste on the phone time after time trying to get to speak this or one who can even understand the issue, to then get fobbed off because nobody knows how to fix it.

please, just get on and fix it.

I have had the same problem for the past few weeks or so and I have tried both factory resetting the router and re-installing the app, neither have worked.

Does anyone know an actual solution for this please?
