I've had my content controls switched off since joining Vodafone and until this morning I've been able to browse 4chan.org without problems. Now when I try and access the site I'm getting a screen telling me access is blocked because it's blocked by my content control settings.
I've added it to my allowed websites in account setting and it's still blocked. What's going on?
Solved! Go to best answer.

I am sure the OP, @FireballXL5 posted this thread twice. When I lasted looked, this one had been answered by Jack the moderator (above) and the other (now disappeared) had been answered by Keith Alger.
Keith suggest swapping out the Vodafone default DNS server address for one or two (primary & secondary) of the more reliable and consistent public DNS servers such as:
Lots of other DNS servers are available, just google public dns servers.

Hi
Is it a VF message?
Not anything an update to a browser or Anti-Virus could have caused?
Seems to be a Valid site etc etc.

Yeah it's a Vodafone message. Nothing's changed on my end same browser, account settings, etc. The router did go down briefly around midnight last night but it does that sometimes, figured it was getting an update or something.
I managed to resolve the issue by turning on content control, waiting a bit and then turning it off again. The blocked sites can now be accessed again (it wasn't just the one apparently).
Thanks for the help.
Sorry for the duplicate topics. This one was marked as spam for some reason and removed so I made two more (which were also marked as spam but are now visible) before giving up.
Edit: About an hour after this post and it's doing it again. None of my settings have changed, no updates, etc. Content controls are OFF but the site is blocked AGAIN.
Why are my posts being marked as spam?

Alright, an hour since my last post and it's doing it again. The router, my settings etc. haven't been changed. Content controls are still OFF but websites are being blocked by Vodafone.
What the hell?

Yes I've posted this thread three times because it was marked as spam and did not appear. Now all of my posts and edits are disappearing (I've already replied to this one twice) and the moderator has yet to respond when asked why.
I resolved the issue by turning on content control and then turning it off again but this appears to be temporary as the sites will be blocked again about an hour later. I'll try changing the DNS as suggested. Thanks.
