Hi, I'm currently with Vodafone via FTTC (70/20). Recently FTTP has become available in my area and shows up as available at my home on Vodafone's website upto Full Fibre 900. I've been trying to upgrade the service but haven't had much luck. I renewed my broadband deal with Vodafone in February of this year. When I renewed they moved me onto the VoIP service where I no longer have a dial tone from my master socket and have to use the rj11 port on the back of my router if I needed a landline.
I've since spent several hours on live chat and eventually managed to speak to someone in the sales team today over the phone and after being on hold for a bit I'm been told that I can't upgrade to FTTP because I upgraded in February and need to wait until my contract is up (Feb 2025).
This doesn't seem right to me as I would expect Vodafone would be happy for me to spend more money with them by upgrading and being tied in longer. Can anyone confirm that this is actually correct and I will have to wait?
Thanks

Have you tried logging in to your account, and seeing if they offer you an upgrade?

I have tried yes. It says upgrading is unavailable and I need to contact Vodafone.
I appreciate what they've told me on the phone but it just doesn't sound right.
