Anyone else getting stalling tactics from Giftcloud when applying for the £105 Tesco voucher promised by Vodafone from the sign-up deal?

’We’re contacting Vodafone to look into your issue.” THERE ISNT AN ISSUE!?

@Jayach

I had a total of 7 emails from them keeping me updated.

It took a total of 18 days  - after my initial email - to receive the voucher.

@Stephanegg

Did you get any emails from Giftcloud?

I have had replies from Giftcloud now I have queried but they either cannot or wont say what the “issue” is. I really dont think that 18 days is reasonable to sort out a voucher which customers are promised within a deal. I will say again that I think these are delay tactics in an effort to encourage customers to give up. I was warned by another customer when I took up the offer that I would need to be ver persistent. Why is that? Taking my money is done in seconds yet giving access to a simple voucher takes weeks? Incredible.

I think that shows the problem is that your purchase wasn't tracked correctly.

I would think you should have had something when you first went via the offer page.

Now they will be having to try to tie up your use of their webpage with your Vodafone account manually.

Unfortunately, if they can't do that Vodafone won't pay them, so they won't pay you.

I do hope it gets sorted for you.

Yes I have contacted the affiliate directly. Vodafone still has a responsibility to it’s customers in not teaming up with dodgy or inefficient companies when using them to incentivise it’s services. Vodafone should also ensure that customers dont have to go round in circles looking for help and answers. Poor customer service.

On the contrary, with so many users there's hardly any complaints.

Don't just read the forums and paint vf as incompetent, look at the forums for say BT, Virgin, TalkTalk and judge their performance. The appearance of "poor customer service" is everywhere.

Mistakes happen.

Mistakes do happen and 90+ % of the time I feel they are genuine. This does not seem to be. Thank you for pointing out that forums can be misleading. I agree. They are places where people make their feelings public. I didnt read any of the other posts before posting my question. I also like to consider several sources when researching in general but my post is not for research purposes. I am expressing my frustration at being lead a merry dance, and as a customer, I feel that is poor.

There are many sign up incentives offered through affiliates and they are not scams.

It's important to remember that the voucher was promised by the affiliate.  The affiliate company would have some terms and conditions and a time limit before submitting the voucher.  If you have not received the voucher you will need to contact the affiliate directly on this email address hello@giftcloud.com

Before sending an email to the above address, check your SPAM/junk box, sometimes the voucher ends up there, the email with the voucher would have come from no-reply@giftcloud.com

All this has been done. Affiliate contacted 3 times and has replied with flannel about an issue which they havent elaborated on. As far as I can see, no issue, all procedures and terms followed. Appears to be delay tactics (which is the purpose of the 90 days iif we are being transparent.) All in an effort to make customers forget about their vouchers 🤷🏻‍♀️
