@jayash Yes, you are right about password. I discovered Google's Cookie password list was in a mess. I now recovered admin access to router. After, I that tried changing DSN from 1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8 to 8.8.4.4./8.8.8.8
but results were both identical. i.e wifi#1 data from router direct to Evohome is blocked. I also tried connection to Evohome on WiFi#2 but no difference.
Finally I re established Evohome WiFi connection to Phone's Hotspot as before (mobile-data disabled) and data regarding ambient temperature is flowing as normal again.

@Midori47 That is odd. Can you look in the router log and see anything useful?

Correction - Also VF Router also shows connection with the phone.

While you've found a solution, it doesn't really sound like a sustainable one!

I have also found a very recent and identical looking discussion in the following link.
MODS: This link is very relevant and shows further info about the problem.

Sorry, I thought the problem sounded similar, I didn't notice it was you that posted it. 🤣

Did the OP ever go through the process of resetting the EVO-Home rather than the router? I know it's a PITA!

I did follow this path. It seems the settings (or setup) are sent to my Evohome from my Account. Honeywell ( or Resideo) hold my email address, Postcode, Device Serial Nr, Mac ID and CRC code. They checked again all was working correctly last month. Furthermore they forcefully concluded " as the customer has proven the system fully functioning correctly when the customer connected the Evohome by wifi to his mobile phone acting as Hotspot, then it proved Vodafone are the problem" I did this on a Plusnet Sim and a Three Sim and both removed the issue.
If this thread concludes without argument that Honeywell/Residio are at fault, then I can go back to Honeywell and say why. If not I have to search a new ISP and ask VF to close my account without penalty. Taken me two months to get this far !
