"Realm not found in wholesaler" error on the CHAP

Hello,

I am trying to configure my own router for PPPoE over vlan 911 for Vodafone over city fibre connection.

I have got user name and password for my connection and configured as below:

dslxxxxxxxx@broadband.vodafone.co.uk (user name hidden here)

However, in the CHAP (from pcap file) I get :

PPP Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol
Code: Failure (4)
Identifier: 53
Length: 33
Message: Realm not found in wholesaler

That would suggest that "broadband.vodafone.co.uk" is not correct?

Any ideas appreciated!

Just for the record. Managed to fixed it.

I am using business account, so correct realm is businessbroadband.vodafone.co.uk

Online support from VF was quite useless in that respect and provided me with incorrect username@realm
