Okay had no choice in the matter but I now have the all new android app, I'm sorry it isn't fit for purpose at all I think a bunch of monkeys could do a better job
The problems start at the app not recognising my wifi is active, it is green to.the router but states I have no WiFi active, yet I'm using the WiFi.
It goes downhill from there, nothing else works, I cannot access my account, broadband tools, see what devices are active on the network, actually nothing works at all, every lik just stalls the app.
It is to out it mildly a joke, I seriously doubt I will be able to access anything should I have any issues.
And that includes the backup dongle which i am paying fo as extra fornthebpleasure of that also didnt work when we had an outage over the weekend.
the fact that the service is running is the only good point so far and I have every faith in the broadband as it has been 99.9% flawless for the last year.
So what I want to know is why you have introduced this worthless app that doesn't work when the prevoius app was top notch.
The attached picture is what the app shows me, pathetic that iit's soon bad.

This morning the ap told me it was off line and it would do nothing. Laptop I'm using has connectd OK. I've just restarted the phone and it has come back on line. Samsung S22 Ultra running Version 5.0.3 from 03.2024. And now the router has decided to reboot and yep, even when restored the ap has gone offline again.....

Having previously given up on the Android BB app and accepting that VF support was non existant, got around to having another dabble today.
Noted that the program version is now V.5.1.0 dated 04/2024, un-installed V.5.0.3 and installed the new version.
Slight improvement, now recognises the hub on every app opening once logged in, previous program version would only do this on first login not on any subsequent program opening.
Still won't show "my devices" but at least can now manage Wi-Fi PW's & SSID's which is all I really wish to do in order to allow usage of my existing (shorter) Wi-Fi PW's..
Perhaps VF are addressing the app anomalies in stages 😒

Routine check on the app this morning and to my surprise " my devices " have been populated, first time ever on my installation 😊
The app version remains the same, V.5.1.0 so can't attribute the sudden functionality to that, I suppose the hub FW could have been updated, not sure, current version is 19.4.0551-3261143.
Can't remember any recent FW updates on my Android phone.
App is mis-reporting some of my ethernet / Wi-Fi device connections as to method of connection but still in my case a major step forward with functionality, not complaining.

Do you have any AP's (Access Points)? Devices connected via them will be reported as ethernet, even though the actual connection is Wi-Fi.

Yes, that probably explains the anomaly regarding mis-reporting of connections.
The display of " my devices " on the app is still very much hit and miss, sometimes works sometimes doesn't, the same applies to " Manage my Wi-Fi ".
However, can always access Wi-Fi with the Wi-Fi icon at the bottom of the display as long as the top display is all "green", ie., " Everything is Working " is displayed.
As stated previously, the only reason I have ever used the phone app is to set a shorter Wi-Fi PW in order to make my Wi-Fi devices configuration easier when I originally migrated to Vodafone.
