Power hub DSL utterly useless

Does anyone else find the power hub DSL with WiFi 6 to be the worst piece of networking kit they've ever used?

Constant dropping of WiFi connection to every device in house simultaneously (wired still works so not an issue with FTP). Authentication failures requiring a restart. Non-functional WPS and WiFi buttons. Takes an absolute age to restart.

How do I get Vodafone to give me functioning kit? Can only drop so many work calls before my colleagues start to assume it's a "me" issue.

Hi @Sheroe77 - this isn't the experience we want you to have with your line. Please go through our troubleshooting here and if needed you'll then be connected to an agent, who can go through some checks with you.

No amount of troubleshooting will fix defective kit. Vodafone are aware of the issues with the PowerHub and need to offer an alternative

Hi @Sheroe77 - please go through the steps in the link I posted earlier and then when you're connected to an agent, you'll be able to escalate any concerns.

you guys just love wasting our time, dont you.

your agents are honestly useless, never leave that chat with a solution, always just gaslighting and incompetence.

If you still have it go back to the previous super hub, it is much better for connecting your devices.

The power hub, or rather how it is uselessly enabled is basically such a waste of time messing around with it.

the power hub is just utterly useless , your new phone or laptop can connect but nothing else.
This is because they have disabled you splitting the 2.4 and 5 bands which was available on the previus super hub.

the wps encoding does not work because it causes conflict for your other devices which are not capable to make a choice of protection mode.

Vodafone, just enable the splitting please then all these complaints will dissapear

@Jrqp1111

Your comments are not correct, there is no reason a 2.4Ghz device can't connect to to a combined SSID, it will simply not "see" the 5Ghz band. However I do agree we should have the option to split them if we want.

They should also make all the settings available on the router, and not expect us to use the useless app.

And as for the WPA problem, that is why it has the compatibility mode.

The previous router the grey super hub connected everything i have , The choice to connect was easy because you could separate the bands. The power hub has no manual seeting that can be saved either band or wps. Whenever you contact vodafone it always comes back that is is your equipment that is faulty, well my stuff connects to every router i try except this useless power hub.

I will have to get the super hub re connected it is much better and really no loss of performance , for the average household the wifi6 is just a gimmick not neccessary for life||||||

How did you move from the THG3000 to the Power Hub, did you renew the contract?

Just what 2.4Ghz devices can't you connect? My laptop is 2.4GHz/WPA2 only but has no problems connecting.
