Shared usb flash drive plugged into my ultra hub router

Can I view my files on my flash drive plugged into my ultra hub router from my external ip using my samsung s23 plus android I can view it on my local WiFi ip at the moment on both my computer and my android but not from an external ip could anyone advise me if it's possible?

Probably not possible as port forwarding to 192.168.1.1 is not allowed

Thanks for the reply, yes that's very true, however l was thinking of using an ip switch plugged into the router giving the flash drive a unique protocol?

Hi hallerguard, yes it will work in the same way as port forwarding a dvr security system, however it probably better to just  get a proper NAS system+Hard drive because it will be More secure,  and much faster than the USB flash drive, plus nowadays network drives come preloaded with Internet security!
