Slow loading

Since joining Vodafone Gigafast in December, I have noticed that there seems to be very slow load times on apps in my phone (BT Sport for example) where it can take 1-2 minutes to load the app and a further 1-2 minutes to load a video stream.

My speed as measured in speedtest by Ookla tends to stay the same throughout the day (600 down/up on average over WiFi).

Kind of baffles me that things can take so long to load even though the speed is so high, any ideas if this is a router problem?
